just wanting everyone to be well informed. I stated 10+ hours because I really did lose count. All I know is I spent a few weekends for hours at a time and eventually moved onto doing something else. So, I've compared some other spoiler (like Kaminari) installs on other Z's and having a slight gap between the trunk trim appears normal. My GOAL was to have the left/right sides of the spoiler sit as flush as possible when comparing to TwinZ install guide. Also, I was comparing different glues to use and decided on using Permatex Clear RTV. I laid a bead down on some cut up bumper pieces used to shave my Jspec and I could not tear them apart the next morning. Tech data shows that the tear resistance is >218psi where as Sikaflex was 400 if I recall. I also used this clear RTV for my foglight ducts. This was the worse side of the two. The spoiler tip (front) angles ever so slightly up but sacrifices had to be made to provide an acceptable gap in the rear. All new trunk trim btw Shadows make this gap look huge but it's really not. You can't like... put a finger or anything in there and even getting a towel to clean is difficult.
